Phase N/A

This study investigates the effects of a moisturizer containing licochalcone A, decanediol, L-carnitine, and salicylic acid in the maintenance phase of acne treatment. Acne is a chronic skin condition characterized by inflammation, excessive oil production, and bacterial growth. This study focuses on Thai patients and aims to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the moisturizer during the maintenance phase after initial treatment with standard acne medications.

  1. Participants will first undergo an induction phase where they are treated
  2. Fixed combination gel and possibly oral antibiotics

Participants will first undergo an induction phase where they are treated with a fixed combination gel and possibly oral antibiotics. In the maintenance phase, the moisturizer will be applied to one side of the face, while a placebo will be applied to the other side. The study will monitor acne severity, skin hydration, water loss, sebum levels, and skin appearance, as well as participants' satisfaction and skin tolerance.
